Mother's Day

I've had quite the busy weekend. Pokey had stomach pains Wednesday or Thursday. He was shaking and his short little hairs were standing on end. I took him in to work the next morning (after a long, sleepless night) and we did one quick xray on him. He looked a little constipated, but nothing too severe. I took him home and fed him some canned food that night and the next morning. He still wanted to eat, so I knew it wasn't anything critical. We re-xrayed him on the opposite side and say here was severely backed up! We had to give him an enema. Although it worked great, he now has blood for poop 2 days afterwards. I was almost going to go with Johny to his mom's house for mother's day, but I'm glad I stayed. He would have either pooped in his cage, or on the carpet or held that grossness in for 5 hours!
On top of all this, we went out Friday night for Ashley and Tino's bdays. I'm so old. I was exhausted at 9:30pm.
THEN, we went to Weinerfest in Fairmount Park for a few hours in the baking sun. Although it was fun, it was still tiring and I was worried about Pokey. I was keeping an eye on him via the ChiCam though.
I found a new yarnbombing buddy! She joined the SnB recently and when spotting the same yarnbomb as I did in Riverside/Moreno valley, she emailed me asking if it was me! We decided to collaborate and do a project soon.

So, I've got a couple of hours before I head to my mom's house. What should I do until then? Sleep? Crochet? Eat? Clean? Ha!!

I am FINALLY working on my next yarnbomb. I got inspired a couple of weeks ago when I found one nearby my town that wasn't mine!! I need to get busy and get my city yarnbombed! I've got a purple, pink and white stripey going on. I'm planning on putting it on some sort of light or pole. I think it will be lovely!

Wow, I'm slackin.

I really haven't been updating on here have I? I've really been more active on Twitter. It's hard to keep things going, blog-wise. That takes effort, where-as Twitter takes less than 140 words to get things across.

I've had a lot going on these days. There are the SnB Meetups. They are going ok. Few people at the meetups. I don't know why more people don't come! Is it something I'm doing wrong does everyone just have busy lives? I can understand not wanting to get up from a comfy couch and go out on a cold (or blazing hot) night to knit/crochet with near strangers. I've tried some boring sit around meetings at different coffee shop. I've tried boring sit around meetings at VARIOUS coffee shops. I've tried fun, planned events. What else can a girl do?

There are also so many other things I'd like to do. I miss doing my doggy clothing business. I miss crocheting anything I want. I've been working out lately trying to get ready for summer, and that sucks. It's hard to get motivated. I was the FIRST week, but now I'm in to week two and blah.

I need to do more yarnbombing! I heard that there was a couple of bombed things nearby and it wasn't me! I AM ANGERED! I not only wanted to be the one doing the bombing, but I want to at least KNOW who's doing it!!!

Hmm... I guess I'm not the writing/blogging type. I'm already bored of writing. *Sigh* I guess I'm ust the tweeting type...
